Access cards

Step 1: Order Access card

There are 2 kinds of access cards, and if you don't already have one, you have to order one:



Step 2: Access to the Chemistry buildings

For employees, PhD students and guests: contact the information office or write an e-mail to chem.au.dk for access

For bachelor and master students: If you are taking courses at the Department of Chemistry, you will automatically receive access

SPECIAL ACCESS - required documentation

Access to rooms listed below requires special approval by the responsible person listed. Fill in form, scan and attach to your online application in the system.

  • 1. kemilager: the chemical storage room, solvent storage and nitrogen storage: only upon approval by supervisor and passed course in Occupational Safety Training (scan of both must be attached, preferably as one file) - download form regarding chemical storage room 1
  • 2. Kemilager: storage only for TAP and Kemishow
  • Kemi Fysikdør: door to basement at Dept. of Physics: only upon approval by Jan Thøgersen or Henrik Stapelfeldt  - download form regarding door to Physics basement
  • Kemilaser: Laser-lab: only upon approval by Jan Thøgersen or Henrik Stapelfeldt  - download form regarding Laser-lab
  • Alkymia: upon agreement between Alkymia and Lene Conley

If you have not attached the required documentation your application will be rejected.

No other special access can be granted via the system.  

PhD students and postdocs not educated from Department of Chemistry at AU, must a.s.a.p. contact Safety Supervisor Peter Hald to be approved for access or signed up for the compulsory ”Occupational safety training” course.
