Payslip

Salary

The condition of salary payments is that you have a NEM account in your bank. For salaried employees, the payment will be paid backwards at the last bank day of each month. Time rate will be paid backwards in the middle of the month.

Pay slip

Your pay slip will be sent to your e-boks or mit.dk which you can log on either through your bank, with Digital Signature, or MitID.

If you don't have netbank, Digital Signature, or MitID we recommend that you get MitID.

You can read more about MitID and order it for free at https://www.mitid.dk/.

Insurance regarding laboratory work

AU is covered by governmental self-insurance, which covers all risks normally covered by an insurance plan. This means that people hired by AU (with a contract of employment) are covered by AU insurances.

However, students, including students with scholarship and part A PhD students, guest researchers on short term stays and researchers not hired by AU are not covered by AU insurances. They must take out a personal accident insurance that covers accidents involving laboratory work.

MUS/SDD

Why do we conduct SDDs at AU?

We conduct SDDs in order to establish a connection between AU’s strategic, long-term objectives and competence needs, and the employee’s own expectations in relation to career and work life.

Good staff development dialogues lead to more satisfied, motivated and skilled employees. This benefits the individual employee, but also Aarhus University.

Follow the links below to read more about the Staff Development Dialogue (SDD/MUS) at AU, how to prepare, and where to find your SDD guide etc.
