You must have passed the occupational safety course (including basic firefighting course) before working in the lab on your own or being allowed access to the waste room and the chemical storage.
If you have similar training from another university, please contact the safety supervisor, Peter Hald. In most cases the safety training from other institutions can be transferred after a short supplementary instruction.
Finally, the safety supervisor will ask you to fill out and sign an “Occupational safety declaration”.
