Dean's Challenge 2017

2017.09.08Dean's Challenge is a case competition for students at Science and Technology and their friends, taking place in October 2017. The case competition is organized by the student association NOVA in collaboration with the Dean of Science & Technology at Aarhus University.

Mussel gels must be made ready for surgery

2017.09.01Tubes with mussel glue will in the future be able to replace sutures and staples in the hospitals' operating rooms. Researchers at Aarhus University have copied the mussel glue production and improved it so much that they have established the spinout company Bioco Medico in order to get the glue brought to the market.

UPDATE AND NEW LOOK IN PURE

2017.08.21Thursday, August 23, Pure will be updated to version 5.9.2. In the period from 4 am to 9:30 pm Pure will be out of service.

Courses in Pure

2017.08.21During the fall we offer four regular courses across 3 days, with a focus on how to add new content to Pure and personal AU homepages. It is mainly for new Pure users and anyone who needs a brush-up, but it's open for all to attend.

Updating Mac computers at ST

2017.08.21IT Support and AU IT are working on updating all staff computers at Aarhus University, not only to ensure a modern IT platform, but also to improve IT security at the university. The extensive work involved in updating Windows computers at ST is well under way and, as far as possible, ST IT Support will soon make a start on updating Mac and Unix/Linux.
