Double the response rate for course evaluations at ST

2018.02.23The new model for course evaluations has encouraged significantly more students to complete their course evaluations. This is a great benefit for quality assurance work at ST.

2018.02.23Six departments at Science and Technology were awarded 12 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowships in 2017, and there are two more on the waiting list

2018.02.23Today the period begins where employees can submit information to be used for the salary negotiations at the Faculty of Science and Technology. The period runs from 01.03.2018 – 15.03.2018.

New agreement on library services

2018.02.12AU Library was officially transferred to The Royal Danish Library on 1 January 2018. This means that there have been changes in the tasks carried out by the library.

iNANO and Department of Chemistry at Aarhus University part of new Nordic Consortium for CO2 conversion

2018.02.02Nine Universities from Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Iceland and Finland are participating in a new Nordic research hub that will focus on developing new materials and technologies for conversion of CO2. The hub has been granted 6,9 million EUR.

Two-factor – what?

2018.01.29Two-step authentication adds an extra layer of protection when you log on to a system or service. Most VPN connections to the university will require two-step authentication in future. If you use a VPN, you can register for two-step authentication at mit.au.dk.

Staff parking at AU Campus

2018.01.26From 1 FEBRUARY, there will be more parking areas reserved for employees at AU. These include the majority of parking spaces around ST buildings in the University Park. If you want to use the parking spaces, and you don’t already have a parking permit, you should register your car at au.dk/parkering.

Publication support open for application

2018.01.22Now all AU employees can apply for research funding from Aarhus University Research Foundation, which helps to spread scientfic work and other activities at the University. The application deadline is February 23.

Residency rules confuse international researchers
